Getting anywhere in life requires key relationships with marquee players in any business field. Growing up in the footwear game I’ve seen how people get what they want and how they went about getting it. Every person on this earth is after something, most often it's money. Even though its been that way since the beginning of time, it certainly doesn’t mean it has to go down that way. In my experience with working with big corporate companies, there is usually that one employee who has the company’s interest at heart. It may take time to find that person, but once I do, working on collaborations become very easy. I like working with people who are as passionate about their work as much as I am about mine. It’s a rare breed, but they still exist and to me it’s those people who make the world go round. Working with passionate people got me to where I am today, and possibly even more importantly, it helped build trust in relationships that will continue to flourish as long as I am alive.
